I walk through the different parks around my home town quite often. Since I have a deep love for the Everglades as well, I try to find all the different ways that i can get a view of it. From lovely parks with trails and sidewalks to a backwards dirt road. Trust me...there here in South Florida, hidden, like little gems.
Below are some of my favorite shots from around the different parks recently, taken by me.
The above pictures were taken at Daggerwing Park in Boca Raton. Its down at the end of glades road or palmetto road going all the way west. you cant miss it! this is great little park with a golf course, playground, dog park, amphitheater and nature center. Plus much more! Not only do you get a great view of the glades, making it a great spot for sunsets, but there is is plenty to do there for a whole day of fun!
Below we have the Loxahatchee Road entrance to Loxahatchee National Park. a hidden gem, treasured by locals, this spot is home to many of the beloved animals of the everglades that can be seen on a regular basis. People come out to take pictures of the alligators that walk right up on the banks and take in the sunset.
